Google doodle to mark beginning of FIFA Women’s World Cup

Google has published a doodle in order to commemorate the FIFA Women’s World Cup which begins on Friday.
The word ‘google’ is in the background of the doodle in green to represent a football field. A collage of several women in different jerseys can be spotted playing the game in the doodle.
The World Cup commences with a match between France and South Korea in Paris. Twenty-four countries are participating in the World Cup.
The doodle is part of a series that Google is set to publish which will be created by artists from the competing countries. Google wishes to capture the “local experiment of the competition” using the doodle.
