Loyal Indian cricket fans purchased tickets of the Cricket World Cup 2019 final hoping to see the Men in Blue play out on the field, but their sudden exit from the semi-finals has left them with an interesting choice.
The fans have to decide if they would watch the final between hosts England and New Zealand or skip the match and sell the tickets.
In a tweet on Saturday, New Zealand’s all-rounder Jimmy Neesham requested the Indian fans to resell their tickets via the official platform only.
He wrote: “Dear Indian cricket fans. If you don’t want to come to the final anymore then please be kind and resell your tickets via the official platform. I know it’s tempting to try to make a large profit but please give all genuine cricket fans a chance to go, not just the wealthy.”

New Zealand survived a swift counter-attack from Ravindra Jadeja to win an exciting World Cup semi-final by 18 runs on Wednesday.
Indian top-order had one failure due and much to their horror, the semi-final proved to be their doomsday.
Jadeja (77 off 59 balls) used every ounce of his ‘bits and pieces’ skill but the Men in Blue could get only as far as 221 in 49.3 overs in pursuit of 240.
