Jofre, Arnab hope to get fit for ISL semis

Atletico de Kolkata's injured duo of Jofre Mateu and Arnab Mondal looked to gain fitness ahead of their do-or-die second-leg semifinal of the Indian Super League against FC Goa on December 17.
“We have two more days left. I feel much better and I hope I will be ready for the semifinal,” said influential Spanish midfielder Jofre Mateu who was down with a hamstring pull.
Both Jofre and central defender Arnab Mondal (twisted ankle) attended the practice session at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan today before a full strength side left for Goa this evening. An integral member of their defence along with Josemi, Mondal had a light training session even as doubts remained on the fitness of their forward Fikru Teferra who skipped the practice. — PTI
