MSD makes gatecrasher run for a hug

MS Dhoni is among the fastest runners between the wickets in international cricket. The pace came in handy as he tried to dodge a fan who had breached security to enter the ground, seeking a hug from Dhoni. Dhoni did embrace the man but only after making him run for it.
Dhoni was taking his position behind the stumps at the start of Australia’s innings when a fan broke through the security to run on to the field, wanting a hug from the World Cup-winning former skipper. A grinning Dhoni quite literally played hard to get while the rest of the Indian team laughed and enjoyed this moment of fun. The man, clad in a white T-shirt and black trousers, ran after his idol, who playfully tried to get away. But then Dhoni relented after a few seconds and embraced the fan, who also touched Dhoni’s feet before being escorted out by a Vidarbha Cricket Association volunteer and a few security personnel. — PTI
