England’s Jason Roy may have scored a coveted century in the World Cup match against Bangladesh on Saturday, but that wasn’t the only “knocking” he did that day.
In a somewhat comical dampening of his century, Roy rammed into an umpire, Joel Wilson, as he ran between the wickets.The incident, and the photos of it, made as much impact as Roy’s century.
Of course, all’s well that ends well, and Wilson was up on his feet, smiling and hugging Roy, soon.
