Madrid: Real Madrid gained ground on both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in La Liga as Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior each scored in a 3-0 win over Alaves. Benzema, Vinicius and Gareth Bale started together for the first time and two thirds of the newly-dubbed ‘BBV’ delivered as Real capitalised on Barca being held by Valencia and Atletico losing at Real Betis.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
