Chandigarh, April 26

Arun Bhardwaj, one of the internationally acclaimed endurance racers from India and the first Indian to be invited to participate in the Badwater Ultra Marathon, finished a 250-km long non-stop run from Delhi to Chandigarh yesterday.

He was roped in by Garmin India, a unit of Garmin Ltd, the global leader in satellite navigation, to support the motto: Power of Fitness at Forty for a Fortitude Run. The Garmin Endurance Run - Delhi to Chandigarh was organised to encourage people to lead an active lifestyle.

The start line of the race was Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The race finished at Chandigarh on April 25. Arun Bhardwaj aimed at completing the 250-km-long non-stop run with the help of Garmin Forerunner 920XT, the world’s first GPS multi-sport device with advanced features, including running dynamics, VO2 max estimate, live tracking and smart notifications.
