DPS Ranipur win football tourney

Delhi Public School, Ranipur, won the inter-department football tournament organized by Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited here today. In a closely contested match at the BHEL stadium, DPS Ranipur and BHEL Community Center remained equal with a lone goal after the completion of stipulated time.
The match was won by DPS Ranipur with a score line of 5-4 in the tie-breaker. DPS players Jatin, Shubhendu Dhyani, Harsh Vardhan Negi, Nikhil Bhaskar and Shubham Badakoti scored one goal each for their team.
At the presentation ceremony BHEL sports club president IJS Sandhu lauded the sporting spirit and skills displayed by both the teams.
Sandhu told players that hard work and consistent efforts bring one closer to perfection. In successful hosting of the tournament BHEL Sports Club secretary Alok C Kerketta, Ravi Kashyap, Azad Khan, Inder Mohan Barthwal, Dhan Singh Pawar, Pawani Gurung, Kamal Chamoli, referee Rajendra Sngh, Rajendra Dharam Satu,Vijendra Yadav and Harbhajan Singh played vital role.
