Dehradun: Garhwal Sporting Club thrashed Akranta Football Club by 3-0 in a match of the 72nd Lala Nemi Das District Football League played at the Pavilion Ground on Monday.
In a one-sided encounter, Akranta Football Club team was outplayed by the strikers of Garhwal Sporting Club. Sumit scored
first goal in the 19th minute, after which Shubham and Pankaj scored one goal each in 35th and 55th minutes, respectively.
In another match played at the Police Lines, Cantt Blue beat Vijay Cantt team by 1-0. Praveen scored the winning goal of the match in 41st minute of the game. — TNS
