Google celebrates beginning of ICC Cricket World Cup with doodle

The 12th edition of International Cricket Council World Cup 2019 is here. It will begin at the Oval in London on Thursday. And, the first thing you will notice about your ‘Google’ search engine is an animated doodle playing cricket.
The animated doodle, which is on the Google Home Page, shows a bowler throwing the ball at a batsman, who hits the ball, which is then caught by a fielder.
If you click on the doodle, we can see a table maintaining the score of each team throughout the tournament and news related to it.
The first match will be played between England and South Africa.
Before starting the 2019 tournament, the captains of all the ten participating teams stopped over at the Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry in London.
The World Cup, which takes place every four years, it is one of the world’s leading, most viewed and most popular one-day cricket match.
