Gursagar Academy defeat SCA in cricket

Chandigarh, March 7

Gursagar Cricket Academy (GCA) defeated Sunrise Cricket Academy (SCA), Zirakpur, by 70 runs in the 1st Champions League Cricket Tournament today. The tournamnet is being played at cricket ground Kharar.  

Batting first, GCA scored 217/5 in 35 overs. Vikas scored 43 off 49 balls with seven boundaries and Angad scored 39 runs off 31 balls, studded with five boundaries. Vikki (2/28) and Baadal Singh (2/51) took two wickets each. 

In reply, SCA were bowled out for 147 runs in 33 overs. Ravi Kant (26 off 30 balls including four boundaries) and Vaibhav (25 off 32 balls including four boundaries) were the main contributors. 

Amrit Sandhu (2/36) and Sukhi (2/32) got two wickets each. The next match will be played on Thursday between Yuvraj Coaching Centre and Cricket Club Kharar.
