Hosts CGC clinch inter-club golf title

Hosts Chandigarh Golf Club (CGC) with a total combined score of 797 bagged the title of the Inter-Club Golf Championship here. The team comprised of HS Kang, PS Bakshi, DPS Sandhu, Aman Guron, Sandeep Sandhu, Arvind Bajaj, Darvesh Kumar, BS Gill, Brig PPS Dhillon and Dhravavtar Ghai.

Around 90 participants took part in the championship played between golfers of four clubs, including Chandigarh Golf Club, Panchkula Golf Club, SEPTA and Naldehra Golf Club.

In the individual category, Col GC Sharma of the Shivalik Environmental Park and Training Centre (SEPTA), Chandimandir, was declared as the gross winner with a score of 80 and Chander Shekhar of the Panchkula GolfClub claimed the nettwinner title with a score of 65. President of the Chandigarh Golf Club distributed the prizes among the winners.
