Husandeep, Khila best athletes

Husandeep Singh was adjudged as the best athlete in the boys’ category while Khila Devi was named as the best athlete in the girls’ category on the concluding day of the annual athletics meet of DAV College, Sector 10.

Khila Devi swept the titles by winning the girls’ 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m event. Devi also bagged the second position in the shot put event.

In the boys’ 100m dash, Husandeep Singh, Arshdeep Thakur and Rajiv Kumar Rawat claimed the top three positions, respectively. Husandeep Singh also emerged winner in the boys’ 200m race. Ravinder Vats and Abhishek came in second and third respectively.

In the boys 400m race, Ravneet Chauhan, Krishan Kumar and Tushar Uppal won top three places. In the shot put event, Vikram Chauhan, Gagandeep Singh and Gagandeep won top spots. In the long jump, Sushant, Arshdeep Thakur and Rohit were declared winners.
