Ludhiana Dist Punjab Schools’ Athletics Meet begins

Ludhiana, November 8
The 62nd edition of the Ludhiana District Punjab Schools’ Athletics Meet began at Gobind National College of Physical Education, Narangwal, today.
A large number of students (boys and girls) drawn from different schools from across the district are taking part in various track and field events during this meet being organised by the Punjab Education Department.
Principal of the host college Hardiljeet Singh Gosal and Avinash Kaur, head of the physical education, were guests of honour at the inaugural ceremony.
Principal Gurjant Singh, assistant education officer, Ludhiana, Jaswinder Kaur, Lachhman Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Jagdev Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Ripudaman Singh, Gian Singh, Balveer Singh, Manjeet Singh Rurka and Jasveer Singh were among others present there on the occasion.
