London, November 22

Eileen Ash, a 107-year-old who played for England in the 1930s and 1940s, believes that India or West Indies would win the Women’s Twenty20 World Cup. “I think it would be between India and... I like the look of West Indies,” Eileen, who played for England’s women’s team as a specialist bowler, told Espncricinfo. “I saw them, they were absolutely brilliant, each one of them.”

Eileen, the first woman Test player to reach 100 years old, said she still watches a lot of cricket. “I love cricket! I waste a lot... don’t waste a lot of time, but I watch a lot of matches,” she said. “When the matches are on, and the phone rings, I don’t answer!”
