Pratishtha clinches U-8 tennis title

Pratishtha Saini proved her superiority by clinching the title in the Under-8 category of the Ludhiana Lawn Tennis Tournament at Ace Academy here yesterday.
A trainee of Total Tennis Academy, BRS Nagar Centre and a student of BCM Senior Secondary School, Pratishtha got the better of her centre-mate Seerat Bassi 25-19 to lift the title.
Earlier, Pratishtha defeated Sehaj 25-10, outplayed Inderpreet 25-11, overpowered Angel 25-14.
Besides, Pratishtha finished as the runner-up in the U-10 years group. She secured the third position in the girls open category.
