Panjab University Coaching Centre lifted the overall trophy in the Chandigarh State Sub Junior and Junior Badminton Championship, which concluded at the PU indoor hall here today.
The team won all the 12 titles on offer. In the girls' U-13 category, Mili Verma of PU defeated Ridhima Thapa 21-12 21-12, while in the boys' U-13 division, Moksh Saini overcame Arjun Prakash 21-18 19-21 21-16 to win the trophy.
In the girls' U-15 category, Arpita Malik of PU Coaching Centre beat Naina Goyat 20-22 21-19 22-20, while in the boys' segment, Aryan registered a 20-22 21-18 23-21 win over Siddhant.
Ishita claimed the girls' U-17 title after beating Garima Singh 21-14 21-8. In the boys' U-17 final, Shaurya Madaan beat Paurush Dhawan 21-5 23-21.
In the girls' U-13 doubles, Mili Verma and Ridhima beat Atulya and Medha 21-2 21-11 to win the title, while in the boys' category, Balkarana and Bhavya overcame Jayan and Samarveer 21-19 15-21 21-8.
Vrinda and Naina Trehan beat Arpita and Naina Goyat 21-15 17-21 21-17 in the girls' U-15 doubles.
In the boys' U-15 segment, the pair of Gurbaksh and Dhruv Bansal registered a 21-19 21-19 win over Aryan and Sanyam in the final.
In the girls' U-17 doubles, Garima and Romil beat Arshia and Ishita 22-20 21-16.
