Renu tops tennis ranking c’ship

Renu Rapria, a class XII student of Arya Girls Senior Secondary School, Mohana, has won the All India National Ranking Women Tennis Championship held in Patna.

In the final, Renu defeated Sara Yadav of Madhya Pradesh 6-4 6-0.

Congratulating Renu on her success, Principal Deepak Malik said she has won many laurels for the school in the last three years and the management has decided to send her to a foreign nation for improved coaching.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
