Chandigarh, October 18

GGD SD College, Sector 32, defeated BAM Khalsa College, Garshankar, 37-15 to enter the league stages of the Panjab University Inter-College Kabaddi Championship for Men (A-Division) at DAV College, Sector 10, here today.

The hosts beat PUCC, Guru Har Sahai, 70-24, while SGGS, Sector 26, beat BKS College, Muhar, 50-24, to move ahead.

Earlier, the Muhar college defeated MR Government College, Fazilka, 42-25, while BAM Khalsa College, Garhshankar, drubbed PUCC, Sinhala, 37-12. GN College, Moga, overcame Panjab University Campus 51-23.

B-Division

Khalsa College, Garhdiwala, meanwhile, humbled GN College, Narangwal, 33-22 to top the B-Division.

In the semifinals, Khalsa College, Garhdiwala, thrashed Government College, Karamsar, 47-9, while GN College, Narangwal, registered a 36-28 victory over CGM College, Mohlan. — TNS
