SDP College for Women hosts joint annual athletics meet

Ludhiana, December 1

Joint annual athletics events for SDP Senior Secondary School, Hazuri Road, SDP Senior Secondary School, Branch Basti Jodhewal and OP Gupta Model Senior Secondary School, Quilla Mohalla, were held at SDP College for Women in Ludhiana today.

Rajesh Bhagat, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, Legal Services Authority, was the chief guest for the opening ceremony. Paramjit Kaur Chahal, District Education Officer (Secondary), Ludhiana, was the chief guest for the closing ceremony.

A remarkable show of PT, karate, yoga and bhangra was presented by students on the occasion. The District Education Officer motivated students to take part in games and sports for their balanced personality development. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, president of the management committee, said students of schools should not lag behind in games and sports for complete education.
