Shigally Hills lift U-14 dist basketball tourney
Dehradun: Shigally Hills won the Dehradun District U-14 Girls Basketball Tournament, being organised by the Sports Department at the Parade Ground sports complex, on Wednesday.
Shigally Hills beat Hopetown School Red 27-18 in the final.
Sanjay of Shigally Hill showed some excellent basketball skills in the match.
Earlier, in the second semifinal held during the day, Shigally Hills beat Aryan School with the score card reading 24-11 in favour of Shigally Hills.
Additional Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Sushil Kumar and Uttarakhand Basketball Federation's secretary Mandeep Grewal were prominent others present for the final match. — TNS
