Dehradun, August 2
The team of Raipur Sports College beat Mahatma Gandhi Inter College, Haldwani, 4-0 in a match of the State-Level Subrato Cup Football Tournament, played at Pavillion Ground today.
During the match, players of the Haldwani team were struggling to keep the ball away from their goalpost, whereas Vipul, Ankur, Kaushal and Shubham scored a goal each for the Sports College.
In other matches of the day, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dehradun, beat Almora 2-0. Almora beat Pauri 6-0 and Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dehradun, beat Haridwar 7-1.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by District Sports Officer SK Sarki.
Shalendra Singh, Moin Khan, Tarun Negi and Prakash Bhatt were referees.
