State girls’ basketball team selected

Dehradun, December 7
The Uttarakhand Basketball Association (UKBA) has selected the state women team for the National Championship to be held at Mysore from January 9th -16th, 2016. This was stated by Secretary General of UKBA Mandeep Grewal.
The members of the selected team are Deepika Joshi, Mamta, Priyanka, Garima, Ishdeep Kaur, Subh Laxsmi, Bhawana, Rida Fatima, Neetu, Shuani, Shailja Aswal, Shrishti, Saloni, Ashmita, Roma, Priya, Kiran and Farkhan. Out of these, 12 players will be shortlisted.
The trials to select the men’s team will be held at the IIT, Roorkee, on December 13.
