Dehradun: Thakurpur Football Club beat Rising Star 3-1 in a match in the 12th Lala Nemi Das District Football League played at Pavilion Ground here on Thursday.
In a one-sided match, Thakurpur Football Club players dominated the whole game and scored three goals without difficulty. Deepak, Tushar and Anurag scored one goal each, while Abhay converted a penalty chance into a goal for Rising Star.
The other match of the day between Doon Football Club and Loko Club ended in a 1-1 draw. Kapil of Doon FC and Praveen of Loko Club scored a goal each for their teams.
Praveen Farasi, Pushkar Gusain, SP Joshi, CM Bhatt and Rakesh Baloni were the referees in the matches.— TNS
