Director Bryan Singer has made The Blob’s appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse official by sharing a behind-the-scenes image.
The image that was shared appears as if the Blob has been defeated by Angel in a mutant cage match. Bryan’s caption pokes fun at the Blob’s gigantic size. It says, Mutant Martial Arts. Light as a feather. #MMA #Xmen #xmenApocalypse’.
At a first sight, The Blob might seem an opponent easy to knock out but later it can prove lethal. So, even though it looks like The Blob has been defeated in this image, we wouldn’t be surprised if he actually got right back up in the film. The Blob hasn’t been depicted in the films since the 2009 version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. No word yet on who is actually playing the larger than life mutant.
