From 268 to 216 pounds!

The Gladiator fame actor Russell Crowe is known to gain and lose weight depending on what role he plays. The actor is currently losing all the weight that he had piled on for his latest The Nice Guys. The actor has lost 52 pounds since his role in the comedy thriller for which he had to beef up. Sharing that he’s already at about 98 kilos (216 pounds) now, he says, “I was 121.6 kg (268 pounds) the first week of August last year.”

Although his waistline may have expanded while playing a private detective, Crowe said he had a great time with his co-actor Gosling, while shooting for the mystery crime comedy film set in the ‘70s. The Nice Guys hits theatres May 27 and is distributed in India by PVR Pictures.
