How Pari lost Judwaa 2
Varun Dhawan is currently shooting in London for remake of Salman Khan-starrer Judwaa.
The movie will be helmed by Varun’s father David Dhawan and stars Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline opposite Varun. Now, we hear that when the film was in the scripting stage, Ileana D’cruz and Parineeti Chopra were being considered to reprise the role of Karisma Kapoor and Rambha, respectively, from the original 1997 film but Varun didn’t want to share screen space with Parineeti.
Shared a source, “Parineeti was very keen to play Rambha’s character in Judwaa 2. In fact, she was almost signed for the film. However, Varun didn’t want to do a full-fledged film with Pari, which is why the casting directors had to change their decision.”
Well, this is surprising! Varun and Pari did share screen space in a special song in Dhishoom. We wonder is this the reason why Parineeti has no nice words to say about Varun.
