The film Mirza Juuliet is all set to hit theatres in March this year. Actor Darshan Kumaar, who was seen in movies like NH10, Mary Kom and Sarbjit, would be playing the lead in the Mirza Juuliet. The movie is a unique love story of Darshan Kumaar and Piaa Bajpai set in the backdrop of Mirzapur and Banaras. Director Rajesh Ram Singh says, “It’s first solo lead for Darshan Kumaar. We were looking at an unconventional hero and he fitted the role. We wanted a regular boy-next- door who could do justice to the character as the film is a romantic action thriller. The film presents Darshan in a rustic look.”
