Ryan has his reasons to come on board in this redo styled movie. “The script was the funniest I’ve ever read. And, obviously Russell, who is an acting hero of everyone. But Joel and Shane just crept their way into my sub-consciousness at a very young age. Between Joel being the screaming director on Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Shane writing Monster Squad, they made a big impression in my early film life.”
