Sadak sequel in the offing?

Sometime back there were reports about Mahesh Bhatt planning to remake Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi. And, now, we hear the filmmaker is planning to make a sequel to his other super hit film Sadak that starred his daughter Pooja and Sanjay Dutt. It is learnt that Alia Bhatt will be part of the sequel as Pooja and Sanjay’s daughter.

The film, in its times was the second highest grossing Hindi movie of the year 1991 and the seventh highest grossing Hindi film of the 90s decade with a groundbreaking musical score. Reportedly, the current story will revolve around Sanjay being on a rescue mission to protect his daughter. As for Pooja, she will only be seen in flashback. With Alia Bhatt joining a super strong cast like this, our excitement levels are only high!
