This Father’s Day was really special for Eddie Redmayne as he, and his wife, Hannah Bagshawe, were blessed with a baby girl. The couple christened their first child Iris Mary Redmayne, reports an online news website.

The pair’s spokesperson also confirmed the news to be true.

Speaking about his impending fatherhood in March, the 34-year-old actor confessed that he was nervous and experiencing a “mixture of emotions.” He further said that he can’t wait to step up for the role, adding that he would be a “hands-on-dad.” —ANI
