Dehradun, September 29
Bajrang Football Club defeated Uttarakhand Tigers 2-1 in a match in the 12th Lala Nemi Das District Football League, played at Pavilion Ground in Dehradun on Tuesday.
In the first half of the game, Saurabh scored the first goal for Bajrang FC in the 17th minute, while Ayush scored the equaliser for Uttarakhand Tigers in the 25th minute. In the second half, Shubham scored the winning goal for Bajrang FC in the 50th minute.
The other match of the day between Doon Valley and Nehru Gram Football Club at the Police Lines ended in a 3-3 draw. Ritesh, Gagan and Rakesh scored one goal each for the Nehru Gram FC team, while Ankit Negi scored a hat-trick of goals for Doon Valley.
Ajit Negi, SDS Rawat, Rakesh Baloni, SP Joshi, CM Bhatt and Kailash Joshi were the referees in the matches.
