Red Cross fairs end in Solan, Nahan

Three-day district-level Red Cross fairs at Solan and Nahan concluded today with cultural activities and sporting events.

At Nahan, Red Cross fair vice-chairperson Pratibha Singh also took out a referral draw on the occasion. Pahari singers like Kuldeep Sharma along with Information and Public Relations Department singers Roshni Sharma and Nitin Tomar and other local singers regaled the audience.

Cultural events, including pahari songs and dance performances and a dog show marked the culmination of the three-day Red Cross fair at Solan. A ghazal night was also organised in the evening where singers from Shimla presented ghazals before the audience at the Thodo Ground. — TNS
