The Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar has finally bid farewell to the much-hyped 3D fish aquarium project proposed at Company Bagh.

Mayor Sunil Jyoti said, “The MCJ will soon send termination notice to the Philippines-based company. If it would have been completed, the project would have been the first 3D fish aquarium project in the entire country.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
