The Netraheen Vikas Manch, Jalandhar, held the fifth scholarship distribution ceremony for visually impaired students on Sunday.

The president of the manch Subhash Gupta and Sanjeev Kumari organised the ceremony in Jalandhar to honour visually impaired students. From across various districts of the state, as many as 100 students participated in the ceremony.

Scholarships were distributed to students who came from Ludhiana, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib. Chief guest CPS KD Bhandari, who was present on the occasion, said struggle and hard work being put in by these students was laudable. Students presented songs and ghazal on the occasion.

Sanjeeva Kumari welcomed the guests while president Subhash Gupta presented the annual report of the Netraheen Vikas Manch. Advocate Shashi Sukla, Satinderpal Singh Khaira, Nikas Grover and Mini Kapoor were present on the occasion.
