Varanasi-Kathmandu bus service from tomorrow

Kathmandu, March 3

India and Nepal are launching a direct bus service between Varanasi and Kathmandu from Thursday, linking the two prominent cities — home to Pashupatinath and Kashi Vishwanath temples.

This will be the second direct bus service between Nepal and India after the Kathmandu-Delhi bus service launched last year. — PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
