Swimmers selected for Punjab sub-junior meet

Ludhiana, May 31
The Ludhiana district swimming teams (boys and girls) were selected during the trials conducted by the District Swimming Association, Ludhiana (DSAL), here at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) swimming pool.
Association president Apinder Singh Grewal said players born in 2004 and 2005 were eligible for group III (11-12 years) and those born in 2006 and 2007 for group IV (9 and 10 years) could participate in these trials.
Selected swimmers would take part in the 30th Sub-Junior Punjab State Swimming Championship scheduled to be held at the Sector 63 Swimming Pool, Mohali, on June 4 and 5.
Those selected are: Girls-III: Anishka Yadav, Kriti Arora, Vani Puri, Jaisica Preet Kaur, Harleen Kaur, Ekamjot Kaur, Ishmanjit Kaur, Mouli Bhardwaj and Seher Sood.
Girls-IV: Nisa Arora, Gurnoor Kaur Gill, Jiya Simar Kaur, Tehzeeb Kaur, Amanat Kothari and Vaasi Singhal.
Boys-III: Amandeep Singh, Ishaan Bahl, Ishaan Pawar, Sargunjot Singh, Sukhminder Singh Gill, Gurliv Singh, Srijan Chopra and Daksheesh Singhania.
Boys-IV: Adhiraj Singh, Nidhish Mehta, Hardik Bhatia, Manan Sukhija, Navraj Sikand Grewal, Param Kabir Singh Batra and Ayush.
