A TEDx event will be organised at Mount Litera Zee School on January 27 from 10 am to 5.30 pm on the school premises.
The theme of the event is INVICTUS, inspired by William Ernest Henley’s poem, celebrates resilient human spirit and its ability to overcome adversity.
“The purpose behind TEDxYouth@MLZSAmritsar is not only to commemorate the invincible heroes, who have swum against the tide, but also to inculcate ideation in the community and provide a well defined platform for expression,” said a spokesperson of the school.
The event will have 10 speakers from all walks of life, such as Jinal Shah, a fitness expert and nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, Anmol Rodriguez, an acid attack survior, Dr Jaipdeep Kumar Sharma, a noted radiologist at AIIMS, and second longest coma survivor in the world, Nandita Puri, a journalist, author and screenplay writers among many.
The organisers expect a huge gathering at the event in the city.
