THE most notable and interesting event in the Punjab Lawn Tennis Tournament on Wednesday afternoon was the game played in court D, when in Ladies's Single, Bibi Amrit Kaur, daughter of Raja Sir Harnam Singh Ahluwalia K.C.I.E., beat Mrs Keays, the celebrated Calcutta player in two finely played sets, which resulted in 6:4 and 6:4 in both events. The success is remarkable, as Mrs Keays had won her spurs in several keenly contested sets in Calcutta, where her play was admired.
