Train services on Ludh-Chd section to be affected
Ludhiana, May 25
Train services on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh section will remain cancelled or short-terminated from May 26 to June 30 due to construction of washable apron of line no. 4 (platform 3) at Chandigarh Railway Station during this period.
Officials of the Northern Railway said 04417/04418 pair of Ludhiana-Chandigarh-Ludhiana train will remain partially cancelled between Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar-Chandigarh-Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. During the period of block, the train will run between Ludhiana and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar only.
Similarly, 14614/14613 Ferozepur-Chandigarh-Ferozepur Express train will remain partially cancelled between Ludhiana-Chandigarh-Ludhiana. In other words, the train originating from Ferozepur will terminate at Ludhiana and will not undertake its onward journey to Chandigarh. — OC
