Travel agents awarded in Gulmarg

The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa felicitated 150 travel agents during a function in North Kashmir’s ski resort Gulmarg.

The operators were honoured during “The Khyber Travel Agents Excellence awards 2017-18” at the resort on Saturday evening.

The Khyber Peerless Award was given to Mazda Travels and Group Business Leader Award went to New Sheen Tours & Travels. The awards for top 10 travel agents went to Mazda Travels, Mascot Travels, Shangloo Travels, Greengold Holidays, Honey Gold India Pvt Ltd., Dastan Tours, Ahsaan Travels, Shah Travels, Meena Travels Pvt Ltd. Culture and Nature Expeditions.

The Best Inbound Travel Agent award went to Distant Holidays and the Voter’s Choice Award was given to Greengold Holidays.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinit Chhabra, General Manager, The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Gulmarg, said, “The Khyber Travel Agents’ Excellence Awards are our appreciation of the generous patronage by our partners in the travel industry in promoting Gulmarg and The Khyber. We are also appreciative of the state government’s efforts in promoting Kashmir.”

Raja Nasir Mehmood Khan, Assistant Director, Tourism, Gulmarg, was also present on the occasion.
