Users can choose to pick appropriate screen brightness, screen timeout period, Wifi and Bluetooth settings at different places. There can be more than one mode for different times of the day depending on the usage. The app has a unique feature of how battery can be charged in the most efficient way.

Users can toggle sliders to choose how much time can be spent on specific activities depending on users’ priorities. pros/cons: The app comes with a price tag of Rs 120.

It measures the device’s battery level, running apps, CPU and memory utilization and then sends the same to the Carat team’s cloud servers for analysis. After a week’s analysis, the app prepares an action list of suggestions for improving battery life. The solutions are customised for the specific device and requirements.
pros/cons: Carat itself uses almost negligible energy and the more it is used, the better are the recommendations. The team, which works on the analysis, shares the bug data with the developers of the apps so they can work for the optimization of the problematic apps.
