Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Dr Dhananjay Mohan will be the new Chief Wildlife Warden of Uttarakhand. He will replace DVS Khati, who retires next month.
Additional Chief Secretary Ranbir Singh issued the orders in this regard. A 1988 batch Indian Forest Service officer Dr Dhananjay Mohan is a PhD and an avid wildlife lover. He is credited with the coming up with the first-ever management plan for Asan Conservation Reserve. He was also instrumental in coming up of the first comprehensive checklist of birds in Uttarakhand.
Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Ghambir Singh will be the new Managing Director of Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation. He presently holds the post of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (planning and financial administration). PCCF administration Rajana Kala has been transferred to the post of PCCF Projects.
