Governor visits IMA

Dehradun, March 14
Uttarakhand Governor KK Paul today undertook an intensive tour of Indian Military Academy (IMA), the symbol of India’s glory and the cradle of the Indian Army.
During his visit to the 1200-acre campus of the prestigious academy, the Governor was informed in detail by Indian Military Academy Commandant Lieutenant General Manvendra Singh about the various training programmes and other activities of the academy. Other senior officials of the academy also met the Governor.
The governor gave a memento to the commandant while the commandant also presented him with a memento.
After this, the governor met the participants of the third Sara Governor’s Golf Cup Tournament under way at the FRIMA golf course.
On March 15, the governor will give away prizes to winners at 12 noon at a function to be held at the officers’ mess at Indian Military Academy.
