Dehradun: Jayat Joshi, head boy at the Brightlands School, has brought laurels to his alma mater and the city by securing 21st rank in the Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) of the IIT, Madras, where he had sought admission for a master's degree in Development Studies. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, is lone institute in the country that conducts courses in humanities and social studies as well. As many as 46 candidates were selected.tns
