Malout: Thieves struck a house in Chand Nagar here when the family was away between January 31 and February 4. House owner Taro Devi told the police that she had gone with her husband Ramesh Kumar to Hisar for his treatment. They returned on Tuesday to find the house ransacked and valuables worth about Rs 3.75 lakh missing. A case has been registered. TNS
