E-commerce major Snapdeal, which has tied up with realty player Tata Housing to sell its homes online, announced its first largest transaction of Rs 1.1 crore, hours after commencing the sale of the latter’s premium and luxury apartments.
The property carnival by Snapdeal, which received over 1,800 enquiries, witnessed the largest deal of Rs 1.1 crore, the company said in a statement. “Since the launch of the real estate category, we have focused on forging alliances with some of the most trusted names in the industry to provide a range of housing options to customers,” Snapdeal Vice- President for Fashion, FMCG and Real Estate, Amit Maheshwari said.
Since the launch of the real estate category in August 2014, Snapdeal has sold over hundreds of units across various price segments. The real estate category has grown 400 per cent in the last six months and currently comprises a portfolio of residential projects from developers across India, including Tata Value Homes, Tata Housing, DLF, Sobha Developers, Godrej Properties, Mantri Developers and Purvankara, the company said. — Agencies
