Australian number plate sells for $2 million
Sydney: A black-and-white number plate with the single digit “4” has sold at an auction for a record-breaking near $2 million, reportedly to Chinese-Australian sex toy billionaire Peter Tseng. Just nine of these New South Wales number plates were ever issued, making them ultra-collectible and irreplaceable, said the auction manager. AFP
YouTube changes its logo for first time
San Francisco: Google-owned YouTube has refreshed its iconic logo and introduced some major design changes to its desktop and mobile apps. The logo ditches the red colour inside the “Tube” part of the name and places the now familiar play icon to the left side of the YouTube name. Google says the change allows the logo to work better “even on the smallest of screens”. IANS
Guinness record for most pull-ups in a minute
Washington: An American fitness enthusiast has set a new Guinness World Record by performing the most number of pull-ups in one minute. Adam Sandel, 31, completed 51 pull-ups, breaking the previous record of 50. Guidelines include making sure the body remains straight throughout and that the chin is raised above the level of the bar for each pull-up. “A long-term goal of mine is to set as many Guinness World Records titles in pull-ups as I can,” he said.
