Los Angeles: “Eat Pray Love” author Elizabeth Gilbert says she is in love with her female best friend, Rayya Elias. The 47-year-old novelist, who split from her husband Jose Nunes after nine years of marriage in July, revealed Elias’ terminal diagnosis uncovered her true feelings for her longtime friend. “I’m walking through this cancer journey with her, not only as her friend, but as her partner.” PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
