Hugh Hefner’s trademark captain’s hat up for auction
Los Angeles: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s signature pyjamas, captain’s hat and other quintessential fashion pieces will be auctioned. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Julien’s Auctions will open bidding in Beverly Hills at The Standard Oil Building or online for the late Playboy mogul’s property on November 30 and December 1. Hefner died in September 2017 at age 91. All proceeds of the sale will go to the Hugh M Hefner Foundation, supporting First Amendment rights and “rational” sex and drug policies. PTI
Tesla-branded tequila ‘Teslaquila’ coming soon: Musk
San Francisco: An April Fool’s Day prank may soon see the light of day as billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has confirmed that a Tesla-branded tequila, called “Teslaquila”, is “coming soon”. Teslaquila first featured in an April Fool’s joke in which Musk, the CEO of Tesla, said on Twitter that he had been found “passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by ‘Teslaquila’ bottles” as he joked about his electric car company going bankrupt. The trademark is for “distilled agave liquor” and “distilled blue agave liquor”, the report said. IANS
Imran vows to make Pakistan ‘cleaner than Europe’
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday vowed to make Pakistan “cleaner than Europe” as launched a campaign aimed at improving sanitary conditions in the country. Imran planted a sapling and participated in the ‘Clean and Green Pakistan’ drive in Islamabad. The PM urged the youth to lead the campaign as it is connected with the future of the country. He vowed to make the country “cleaner than Europe” in five years. He said Pakistan was the seventh most vulnerable country to global warming and Lahore was among the cities where the pollution level is very high. PTI
